AstraZeneca's Budapest Office: a modern transformation with flexxica lighting

The office, which now spans 1,500 square meters, features a thoughtfully renovated design that prioritizes comfort, productivity, and well-being. This metamorphosis includes the introduction of quiet zones, four state-of-the-art conference rooms, and several private cubicles designed specifically for phone calls, providing employees with an array of spaces to meet their work needs.

The project, designed by the Solinfo Group in collaboration with Mádiláncos Studio architects, aimed to optimize the office for high-performance work. A key element of this was enhancing the office’s lighting and acoustics, two factors crucial to fostering an efficient and comfortable working atmosphere. 

To achieve this, the architects selected Flexxica’s advanced acoustic lighting solutions, incorporating the Linea and Acoustic Blade luminaires. These fixtures play a dual role, offering exceptional lighting while also addressing sound management by reducing ambient noise. This is particularly important in modern open-office layouts, where balancing acoustics is essential for maintaining a conducive work environment.

The Linea and Acoustic Blade luminaires were specifically chosen for their ability to provide high-quality, energy-efficient lighting while simultaneously improving acoustic conditions. By incorporating these fixtures into the office design, the architects created a space where employees can focus better, engage in collaborative discussions, or retreat to quieter zones for uninterrupted work.
